Hive Hydrogen, a solar power company, a South African investment organization, Built Africa and Linde of Germany, have decided to come together and to set up a mega green ammonia plant at Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa
The plant will have an annual capacity of 8,00,000 tpa and will be built at a cost of Rs USD four billion. The mega plant will be supported by a dedicated power supply from the nearby solar project of Hive Energy
The Phase-I of the project is set to go live by 2025, whilst the full operation is expected to commence by the end of 2026
